Viridien is seeking a passionate, creative, and customer-focused individual to join its team in Crawley, United Kingdom, as a Business Development Manager – Sub-Saharan Africa. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for expanding Viridien’s seismic portfolio and business presence across Sub-Saharan Africa by identifying key markets, developing tailored technical solutions for geological and geophysical challenges, and engaging with government entities, regulatory bodies, industry stakeholders, and financial institutions. You will lead high-level business development activities including contract negotiations, consortium partnerships, and securing funding opportunities while collaborating closely with internal technical, legal, and finance teams to ensure smooth project execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in geoscience, engineering, or related disciplines (or equivalent industry experience), a proven network within target Oil & Gas companies, experience managing complex seismic programs, and excellent organizational and communication skills. Fluency in English is essential, and French proficiency is desirable.
