This role supports the definition, development, and delivery of electrified propulsion systems (XHEV/BEV) by integrating multiple hardware and software components into OEM vehicles for a new Electrified Architecture platform. The BEV Systems Engineer will be responsible for creating system targets, defining system requirements, developing system architecture, supporting system integration, and contributing to verification and validation activities in accordance with the Product Creation System. The role involves analysing customer and functional requirements, evaluating design concepts, resolving technical issues, supporting cross-functional engineering teams, and ensuring harmonized system performance across sub-systems and components. It requires hands-on experience with automotive electrified powertrain systems, system modelling, diagnostics, data analysis tools (INCA, Canalyzer, Corvus, Matlab, Picoscope), and collaboration with vehicle engineering, attribute teams, controls systems, and propulsion component teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and 4+ years of relevant experience in systems engineering or propulsion system delivery.
