The Battery Testing Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the development, performance, and functional verification of EV battery systems aligned with project requirements. The role demands a strong foundation in test rig design, instrumentation, and a deep understanding of EV battery architecture and electrical safety. Working as part of the Design Verification (DV) team, the engineer will oversee mechanical development and durability validation through the DVP (Design Verification Plan). Responsibilities include developing and approving test procedures, reviewing technical data, and ensuring compliance with test plans and programme gateways. The role also involves linking virtual and physical validation methods, understanding design principles, solving problems using quality tools, and operating in a structured, cross-functional environment. Desired skills include familiarity with Agile practices, battery certification standards, programming for data processing (Excel VBA, Matlab), and experience in configuring test facilities. A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automotive Engineering is required, with high-voltage safety certification as a plus.
