The Automation Development Engineer at Quintessential Design Service Limited (QDSL) will develop, debug, and maintain automation tools for data analysis and reporting in the automotive propulsion domain. This role involves working with Attribute Engineers, Lead Engineers, and Technical Specialists to enhance existing systems and create new tools supporting propulsion efficiency metrics. The ideal candidate will have strong coding and automation experience using Excel VBA, MATLAB, and Python, with skills in test data analysis and reporting. Additional experience with ETAS MDA, AVL Concerto, or similar tools is advantageous. Applicants should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analysis, or Mechatronics.
