The University of Glasgow is hiring an Automation Developer to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions that streamline business processes and reduce manual work across the institution. In this full-time, permanent role, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, build and deploy workflows using leading tools such as UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, and Microsoft Power Platform, and ensure smooth operation and continuous improvement of live automation systems. The role requires strong technical and problem-solving skills, including experience in software development, version control (Git, Azure DevOps), testing, debugging, and Agile methodologies. Ideal candidates will have experience in robotic process automation (RPA), SQL, APIs, and Microsoft Power Automate.
