Durlston Partners is seeking an Artificial Intelligence Engineer with deep expertise in AI/ML, knowledge graphs, and NLP to join a high-calibre team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role involves designing and owning large-scale knowledge graph architectures and pipelines, building advanced NLP/LLM-based information extraction and retrieval systems, prototyping and deploying graph-based learning models and embeddings, and collaborating directly with investment teams and researchers to turn complex requirements into scalable solutions. Candidates should have 5–8+ years of experience in quantitative software development or applied AI/ML, strong proficiency in Python and frameworks such as PyTorch (or JAX), experience with graph ML libraries, and a solid grounding in algorithms, probability, statistics, and machine learning fundamentals. Finance experience is beneficial but not required. Advanced academic qualifications (MS/PhD) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields are preferred. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, high-performance environment are essential.
