Nu Quantum Ltd is seeking an AMO Theory and Simulation Group Lead to direct the AMO team designing ion-traps and benchmarking quantum networking protocols. The role involves line management, technical decisions, process improvement, system architecture, workflow development, budget coordination, and contributing to the company’s strategy. Candidates should have postgraduate-level qualification in AMO physics with applications to quantum computing/simulation, simulation skills (Comsol, ANSYS), master-equation modelling (QutiP, Mathematica, MATLAB), technical expertise in qubit control, quantum optics, experimental techniques, and team leadership experience. Excellent communication skills, strong data management, and cross-disciplinary workflow experience are required.
