Cambridge University Press & Assessment is seeking an AI Evaluation Scientist to join their Applied AI team. In this role, you will evaluate and improve AI-enhanced assessment technologies with a focus on fairness, transparency, and accuracy. Key responsibilities include conducting statistical evaluations, developing validation frameworks and QA processes, collaborating with machine learning engineers and validation specialists, and presenting findings to stakeholders. Candidates should have a degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Data Science, AI, or Mathematics, or possess equivalent experience, along with strong skills in inferential statistics, multivariate analysis, and Python or R (preferably Python). Experience in AI model evaluation and a commitment to ethical AI principles are essential. Familiarity with assessment technology and explainable AI is desirable.
