The AEH (Airborne Electronic Hardware) Certification Engineer at GE Aerospace will lead the hardware certification efforts for aviation systems, including defining certification strategies, compliance planning, reviewing development artefacts, performing internal and supplier audit pre-assessments, and supporting regulatory authority audits. The role involves working closely with Integrated Project Teams to resolve audit findings, participating in industry working groups, and mentoring junior engineers. The ideal candidate should have experience with ASIC, FPGA, and CPLD technologies, and a solid understanding of compliance standards such as RTCA/DO-254 and AC 20-152. Desired qualities include knowledge of ASIC design and fabrication, strong communication skills, leadership ability, and experience in demonstrating compliance to certification regulations.
