The Advanced Lead TE Sustainment Engineer at GE Aerospace will be responsible for delivering test equipment into the production environment along with associated documentation and spare parts. The role includes leading the development of a comprehensive obsolescence strategy for test equipment. The engineer will oversee the transition of test equipment from the Engineering Department to the Supply Chain, addressing reliability and yield issues to improve performance. Additional responsibilities include mentoring junior engineers, providing technical support to the Test Systems NPI and Sustainment teams, ensuring adherence to quality management systems, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, experience in technical leadership, debugging and fault finding, project management, hardware/software integration, and configuration/change management tools.
